The contests are for fun, it is free to subscribe to a Contest and the price you get is a member-rank promotion. Tech Town is also a Discussion Forum about Computers in general.
Beginners can learn by the submitted tutorials on the forum. Please register for more information on TechTown's tutorials.
More advanced users can talk and submit tutorials to help beginners in Contests or even to help more advanced members. If you have your own software/program, you can post a download link to the section made for it and people will try it out. You can also put your program in the programmer's contest, maybe you'll win something.
There are many types of contests such as:
- Graphic Contest
- Program Contest
- Keygen Contest
- Virus Contest (still in debate. The staff still needs to think whether or not to put it in the forum.)
